DESCRIPTION:The Euroregion and MedCoopAlliance participate in the events that will take place in the framework of the MedCat Days\, jointly organised by the Department of External Action and European Union of the Generalitat of Catalonia and the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed)\, which will take place in Barcelona on 12 and 13 June 2023. \n\n12/06/23 MedCat Dialogues: “Reviving the Euro-Mediterranean transformative agenda\, together”\nThis seminar will launch a debate to rethink and transform Euro-Mediterranean relations in the context of the conflict in Ukraine\, to contribute to the implementation of the European Union’s new agenda for the Mediterranean\, in line with the sustainable development objectives. This also requires a renewed effort to establish innovative mechanisms for multi-level and collaborative governance involving all actors as agents of transformation in the Euro-Mediterranean region. In this context\, the Catalan Presidency of the Pyrenees-Mediterranean Euroregion is promoting a workshop on “The Pyrenees-Mediterranean Euroregion’s commitment to combating drought“.\n\n\n13/06/23 MedCat Partners Forum: “Governance and Euro-Mediterranean territorial cooperation”\nAn open forum focusing on the specific objective of governance as a priority for territorial and Euro-Mediterranean cooperation programmes. DESCRIPTION:The EPM is associated with the 3rd Mediterranean Climate Forum “MEDCOP Climate – Meeting of Mediterranean territories for Climate Action”\, which will take place in Tangier\, Morocco\, on 22-23 June 2023. \nMedcop is a Mediterranean civil society forum organised in the wake of the World Climate Conference (COP). This event aims to highlight the actions of Mediterranean actors and promote the transition to action in the fight against climate change. \nThis year\, the event is co-organised by the Region of Tangiers-Tetouan-Al Hoceima and the Mediterranean Climate House (MMC)\, in collaboration with several national and international organisations. The Department of External Action and European Union and the Department of Climate Action\, Food and Rural Agenda of the Generalitat of Catalonia are taking part\, and conferences and meetings are being held on the themes of renewable energies\, water and the agri-food sector\, among others.
