Call for grants 2012

These projects, aimed at improving resource efficiency, energy efficiency and the sustainable management of water resources, were led by Catalan organisations and companies, and received funding of more than 197,000 euros from the Euroregion.

The projects selected:

• GEOPIMED, promoted by the company Ecoserveis, would analyse the efficient use of geothermal energy at low temperature.
• VINECO, by Cyclus Vitae Solutions, S.L., would apply the life cycle analysis of eco-innovation to wine production.
• GOTA, by Eco-Union, would study water management in the territories of the Euroregion.
• Lastly, NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building), by the Escola Superior de Comerç Internacional-ESCI-UPF de Catalunya, would create a thematic community on buildings within the European platform for sustainable building professionals.
