APC – Call for Culture Projects

The Pyrenees-Mediterranean Euroregion values the cultural, linguistic and heritage diversity of its territory and positions itself as a leading region at European and Mediterranean level in the field of cultural cooperation. In particular, it supports artistic development and creation in all its forms and promotes its heritage in its entirety.

The annual call for cultural projects (APC), established in 2010, forms part of the ‘Euroregion 2030’ roadmap and aims to contribute to building a more resilient future. This initiative seeks to foster cultural diversity within the Euroregion, promote a Euroregional culture open to the Mediterranean, and strengthen solidarity within territories. The Euroregion is committed to a cohesive cultural fabric and believes in the role of cultural actors and the creative industries as a driving force for cooperation and social development. Therefore, the call is aimed at organisations based in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and Occitanie. In order to foster cooperation and diversity, projects must involve at least three organisations, one from each member territory. Finally, eligible activities must take place within the territory of the Euroregion.

Projects may focus on activities such as the creation, production, exhibition, mediation, dissemination, enhancement and promotion of heritage, as well as digitisation processes, cultural exchanges and other forms of creative expression. They may also include related initiatives, such as training and cultural management. The call for projects is open to all disciplines within the cultural and artistic sectors.

In addition, we also have a partner search tool that allows you to locate all cultural organisations in the Euroregion. If you wish to register so that potential project partners can find you, or simply to publicise your activities to the general public, you can create a partner profile with all the necessary information.
