Projects subsidised in 2016

REACCIONA

Based on the realisation of the importance of having a good command of audiovisual language in the contemporary world and aware of the fact that young people are the main consumers of images, Reacciona was a project that developed cultural, artistic and social events. It enabled 18 secondary school classes from the Euroregion to produce 18 audiovisual pieces commissioned by several NGOs on cooperation and solidarity. This project brought together the following associations: Taller de Cinema, Cinémathèque de Toulouse and Mom Works.

The project received a grant of €40,000 from the Euroregion for a period of 19 months.

Euroregional Forum “Cultures popularas en dialòg”

The Euroregional Forum project “Cultures popularas en dialòg”  created innovative networks of promotion and exchange of elements of intangible culture (music, gastronomy, etc.). Specifically, it resulted in a meeting with exchanges and debates (workshops, lectures, etc.) with the objective of promoting artistic mobility. Moreover, it also helped feed FaBrica, a digital platform of publications and artistic exchanges. This project involved the following associations: Centre Interregional per al Desenvolupament de l’Occità (CIRDOC), Fundació Fira Mediterrània, Fira d’espectacles d’arrel tradicional de Manresa, Sa Xerxa Teatre Infantil i Juvenil de les Illes Balears.

The project received a Euroregional subsidy of €45,000 for a period of 12 months.

3ANGLED

The project 3angled began a joint work between three cultural actors in the Euroregional territory involved in contemporary audiovisual artistic creation: the Centre Dramatique National de Montpellier, the Festival Eufonic and the Centre d’Art Contemporani ADDAYA. The objective was to bring together their knowledge to host and promote, within the three institutions, an artist from the Euroregion (working on these issues) developing a project in the centre of this new association. Some cultural activities or workshops were also organised around the project of creation with different target groups (schools, associations or professionals).

The project received a Euroregional subsidy of €15,000 for a period of 13 months.
