The collection actions coordinated by the Euroregion Pyrenees-Mediterranean (EPM) resulted in the collection of half a tonne of waste in two hours.
The nearly 300 volunteers mobilised in the three territories that make up the EPM – Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and the Occitania Region – redoubled their efforts to collect waste for the second consecutive year during this day of citizen participation for the preservation of the environment and biodiversity.
