EUROREGION PYRENEES MEDITERRANEAN: DROUGHT, A NEW COMMON MODEL FOR WATER MANAGEMENT IN THE FACE OF CLIMATE EMERGENCY

The Euroregion Pyrenees Mediterranean (EPM) has issued its position on drought and water management, calling for greater involvement of the European Union in tackling climate hazards, which are very clear in the Euroregion, while at the same time supporting savings and the circularity of water resources.

The Euroregion took advantage of its participation in the international MedCat Days, organised by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Institut Européen de la Méditerranée, to exchange views with stakeholders from all over the basin on subjects such as drought and water management, innovation and multi-level governance.
