AMI Gastronomie : Tasting cooperation

Background

Within the framework of the Balearic Presidency of the Euroregion (2025-2027), which places responsible, sustainable, and quality tourism as a strategic axis, a new call for proposals has been launched to promote collaboration between hospitality, restaurant, and gastronomy schools in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, and Occitania.

This initiative aims to promote educational and practical exchanges, strengthen cultural and professional ties between territories, and offer the public unique gastronomic experiences that reflect the richness and diversity of the Euroregion.

Recipients

Public or private schools specializing in hospitality, catering, or gastronomy located in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, or Occitania may apply if they are willing to make a threefold commitment:

  1. Organize an event in their region.
  2. Host students and/or teachers from other regions.
  3. Send students and/or teachers to other regions.

In order to guarantee the success of this initiative, schools must have sufficient technical, human, and educational resources to carry out the proposed activities.

Deadlines and operation

Open call from September 15, 2025, to November 10, 2025 (12pm)

Resolution: December 2025

Project execution: January 2026 – June 2027

The total budget allocated to this initiative is €45,000, with a maximum of €15,000 per region. Funding may be provided for travel and accommodation expenses, logistics and event organization, educational resources, and communication activities.

Among the activities planned, the following stand out:

  • Themed showcooking
  • Workshops with guest chefs
  • Revival of traditional techniques
  • Tasting of local products
  • And much more!

Proposals will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • Compliance with the threefold commitment (15 p)
  • Quality and consistency of the action plan (30 p)
  • Educational innovation (10 p)
  • Thematic diversity (10 p)
  • Economic viability and budget (10 p)
  • Logistical and hosting capacity (10 p)
  • Impact and expected results (10 p)
  • Previous experience in exchange projects (5 p)

Submission of applications

Applications must be submitted via the WIIN platform before 12pm November 10, 2025.

This call for applications represents a unique opportunity to connect young talent, promote gastronomic innovation, and showcase the destinations of the Euroregion through culture, education, and shared creativity.
